Hope in the dark

Uncertain about what to do with the issue our family is facing right now, I put my hope in the Lord.В  I trust Him because He is in control.В  I praise Him because I know that He allowed this to happen for a reason.I thank Him for the things that He wants to teach us and tell us.

«And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.»В  - Romans 8:28 (New Living Translation)

He is fixing the relationships in our family and molding us into the people that He wants us to be.В  I know that the issue is much more than about disobedience.В  It’s about faith.В  It’s a spiritual war out there and in here even under our very own roofs.В  The devil attacks the family because he knows that the family has the greatest impact in a person’s life.В В  A person’s notion of love, life, God, hopes, dreams, trust, forgiveness, and a lot more are formed and taught within the family.В  At the same time, heartaches, shattered dreams, unforgiveness, betrayal, and abuse can also be caused by and experienced in the family.В  So, where would we go if everything else seems so dark and we are just so lost that we do not know where to go and what to do?

«You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.» - Psalm 119:114

Go to the Lord.В  Speak with Him in prayer.В  Listen to Him by reading His Word.В  Praise God for He is a Man of His promises a Man of His Word.В  Know God’s promises and claim them.
